1. If a questions ask you to draw a diagram, it is important to draw it in pencil.
- Diagrams are always worth 1 or 2 marks
- The key to obtaining the extra mark is to always LABEL the diagram
2. Equations must be balanced and include states
- This is especially important for: Redox, Combustion and Precipitation reactions
- At times you may need to include delta H to show if the reaction is exothermic or endothermic

4. The BOS website SAYS you don't have to write states if they are (aq) but make sure with your teachers they are ok with this for your internal exams
